ABOUT ME I am a painter, photographer, ceramicist, graphic designer, mom, and wife. I create works on canvas and paper, capture the world behind the lens, handbuild organic forms in clay, and spend time with my family and friends. I was an interior designer before I became a graphic designer and a graphic designer before I became an artist. And before that, I lived in Italy one summer studying Renaissance architecture. Because of my background in art + design, I am intrigued by space, light + color and often find these are the lenses with which I view the world.
ABOUT MY WORK I am ultimately curious about the organization of patterns and repetitions that exist in the natural and man-made worlds. By deconstructing patterns into individual layers such as color, shape and form, my hope is to reflect the beauty of these systems through my art.
